V01 - Ciocarlia/The Skylark

V01 was operated by Romanian intelligence. Its callsign was the well-known Romanian folk tune "Ciocarlia" (transl. "The Skylark"). Not much is known about this station, other than it utilizing pre-recorded messages on tapes and using different men for the voice transmissions. The numbers were read in Romanian.

V01 ceased operation in 1989 after the Romanian revolution.
