G02 - The Swedish Rhapsody

G02 is another infamous station that was operated by the Polish State Security and subsequently the Office for State Protection. The callsign is a music box version of Hugo Alfven's "The Swedish Rhapsody". Interestingly, the station used a Stasi voice generator machine, but pitched the voice higher to the point of it sounding to that of a little girl's. It was also a station with a rigid, albeit complex schedule and there were rarely any errors or mistakes during broadcasts. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the station ceased operation and E23 took over its schedules.

G02 had a very complex broadcasting schedule. It would be heard during selected weeks, with the counting of the weeks starting on the first Saturday of the month. One message could be repeated multiple times during a time slot, up to even 15 times in a single month. G02 ceased operation in 1998.
